I was rather busy for the last two months, things like exams, assignments, labs/experiments, one or two food reviews, birthday parties and events, more assignments, more labs/experiments kept coming, like a train.
Anyway, the busyness for this month is coming to an end soon but that also simply means my final exams are just around the corner and there’s much to do as I didn’t do very well in my mid terms.
What happened in July?
Ex-house mate, university mate and good friend, Sanjev Sunder’s surprise birthday party. We The girl friend, Kim, managed to pull it off flawlessly and the look on the birthday boy’s face was priceless. It was also fun to catch up with them as I don’t see them that often since we all left MMU. Wait… Not we, but them. I am still in MMU. FML.
Happy birthday, bro!
Ah Kit’s graduation, masters, if I may add. Congratulations, bro!
I know, I know. Double FML.
I didn’t have any intention of joining Astro Bplayer contest which was held throughout the World Cup period. The contest required Twitter-ers to tweet about their site where users can watch live World Cup matches on their computer.
The Malay stall opposite my house was full and it was raining at that time; with nowhere else to watch, I headed back home and fired up Astro Bplayer. I tweet about it and that was it. @NikiCheong even asked whether it was a paid campaign from ChurpChurp.
And guess what, I won myself a MacBook! I couldn’t believe it when some of them tweet about it I am more of a bad luck kind of person but when I saw the results with my own eyes, I was grinning from ear to ear.
I went to collect my prize two days later and when I opened the box, it was a MacBook PRO instead. Can’t help it because the site only written MacBook, and not MacBook PRO.
As of this moment, I am selling it away in exchange for another item that has been in my wish list for quite some time. On the other hand, I also feel like keeping it because it is a MacBook PRO after all and the screen is nothing but out of this world. I am so torn in between. :(
Anyway, thank you @AstroBplayer. You made my day, that day, the best day ever throughout my 26 years.
Met up with sis Sook Ying when she was released from prison summer camp for five days at 1 Utama. I can’t recall the last time I met her.
We had our lunch at Chilis, mushroom jack with grilled chicken and fajitas and I think I talked a little bit more than usual. Hmmm… The first time I dined at the said restaurant, I ordered this, not knowing what it was and was a little lost when came to eating it. :”>
Met a number of new bloggers from the three food tasting sessions I attended since I came to KL and met some readers/followers for the first time too! It was fun and somehow reminded me one of the reasons why I enjoy blogging. Cheers!
